Phil Baird joined Fisher BioServices, then McKesson BioServices, in 2002 as Vice President, Government Operations and Business Development. Prior to joining Fisher BioServices Mr. Baird was Vice President of Operations for the American Type Culture Collection.
Mr. Baird is recognized for his expertise in the design and operation of biological repositories. He is a founding member and current board member of the International Society of Biological and Environmental Repositories.
Prior to his work within the biosciences industry sector, Mr. Baird has over 25 years of experience in the communications manufacturing industry, where he held increasingly key positions in engineering, operations, and quality. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and his Master of Science degree in Metallurgy and Material Science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
