Meeting and exceeding cGLP standards
FBS has an onsite laboratory, which follows current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP) and is complete with biological safety cabinets (BSL-2), special containment rooms for serum and palsma aliquoting, and cutting-edge equipment for whole blood processing, and DNA extraction and amplification.
Knowledgable staff ensuring quality processing & data reporting
FBS has developed over 1,000 standard operating procedures (SOPs) over the past 22 years to guide all repository and laboratory operations, supplemented by extensive training of staff, and re-engineering of work processes.
We routinely review our procedures and ensure that they are performed correctly and accurately documented, such as performance of extractions, digital records of DNA migration patterns and absorption readings are maintained in laboratory notebooks. Laboratory equipment is inspected and calibrated on a regular basis.
